St. Mary's Algoma currently participates in the Wisconsin School Choice Program.
This program allows eligible students to attend a participating private school in grades four-year-old kindergarten (K4) to 12. The private school, on behalf of the student’s parent or guardian, receives a state aid payment for each eligible student
Student Eligibility Each year, all students must apply at https://apps4.dpi.wi.gov/ChoiceParent/.
Student eligibility is based on a combination of student residency and income. Generally, the students must also be applying to certain grades or have met a prior year requirement.
Residency: All students must provide documentation that they meet the residency requirement specific to the program each year. Students may reside in ANY school district to participate at our school.
Income: New Choice students must provide income documentation showing that the family income does not exceed the income limits as set by the State of Wisconsin. Please see below for information on the income level requirements.
